Zakir completed his LLB (Hons) from University of Hertfordshire in 1996 and then qualified as a Barrister in November 1998. He subsequently converted and started practicing as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2004 and has earned prestige and fame as a distinguished solicitor within the community. He specializes in Immigration and Human Rights, Conveyancing, family and civil litigation. Zakir has extensive experience as a lawyer and has successfully represented numerous clients in the UK. He established ZAKK Associates and Solicitors in 2011 which is an East London based law firm with a country-wide clientele and is a Director at Zakk Associates and Solicitors Limited.

Fariha started her teaching career in the United Kingdom in 2002 teaching Business and Accounting to Lower Sixth students at West Thames College. Fariha has a Masters in Business Administration and acquired her teaching qualifications in higher education while teaching at the West Thames College.
She then moved on to work in the field of healthcare while working on a project with the Department of Health supervised by Radar across West London Boroughs Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent, Barnet and Hammersmith and Fullham. She is a qualified health trainer (level 3) and has a Level 3 in health and social care. She has worked in the health care sector for 7 years on various projects with the NHS and other providers. She joined Regent in 2013 as a sixth form lecturer and since last year has joined the HND team in teaching business courses. In addition to her current role, she also teaches in other colleges business and economics courses. Fariha has a diverse skill set and is currently the Advisor to the International treaty for Banning the Political Use of Religion. She has worked in other countries including Pakistan with prestigious organizations including the United Nations and ICI (British MNC). She brings in a vast experience into the classroom and makes learning interesting for her students. She is a leading activist for human rights and women empowerment with extensive contributions to the UN programs and many international organizations.
