He specializes in Immigration and Human Rights, Conveyancing, family and civil litigation. Zakir has extensive experience as a lawyer and has successfully represented numerous clients in the UK. Mr Imran Panaawala is originally from Pakistan and he is a practising solicitor and running his own Law firm known as IP Solicitors since 2016 in London as a Principal Solicitor. He was admitted as a High Court Advocate in Sindh of Pakistan in 2001 and subsequently he was admitted as a Solicitor of Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2008. Mr Panaawala has also been called to Bar as a Barrister.

He is involved in different charitable organisations and currently he is serving as a Vice Chairman of International Lawyers Club UK and as a Regional President of World Memon Organisation for Europe. The World Memon Organisation is a big charitable organisation and has spent more then 70 million US Dollars in last two decades around the globe for the betterment of Humanity. Mr Panaawala had also served as a Secretary General of International Lawyers Club UK from 2020 till February 2023. Currently Mr Panaawala is also running his own charitable organisation known as International Voice of Justice and Peace to raise the voice against injustice to have a peaceful world as he believes that injustice and unfair system produces criminals. Mr Panaawala also joined Liaquat Merchant Associates, a firm of Barristers-at- Law, Advocates Supreme Court and High Court., having its affiliated office in different parts of the world.

Mr Panaawala joined Human Rights Commission of Pakistan in 1997. He also joined Amnesty International (Karachi Group). On 24th August 1999, Mr Panaawala was appointed as a Divisional Secretary General of International Human Rights Commission for Karachi Division, the notification was issued by the World Chairman of IHRC from Islamabad (Capital of Pakistan). A certificate of Commendation was also awarded to Mr Panaawala by the Government of Sindh and a Silver Medal by International Human Rights Commission (IHRC).

In 1998 Mr Panaawala became the Member Managing Committee of the Kathiawar Co- Operative Housing Society Ltd and Jetpur Memon Association. Due to his experience in law field and his selfless services he was appointed as a Vice Chairman of Legal Committee in both organizations namely Jetpur Memon Association and Kathiawar Co-Operative Housing Society Ltd., in the year of 1999. Mr Panaawala was appointed as a Vice Chairman of All Pakistan Memon Federation Legal Committee and subsequently he was co-opted as a Member Managing Committee of All Pakistan Memon Federation and appointed as Chairman Legal Committee and Vice Chairman of Constitutional Committee of All Pakistan Memon Federation. Mr Panaawala was also nominated as Justice of Peace for Aram Bagh Police Station in the year of 1998. Mr Panaawala was also appointed as a Deputy Coordinator for Aram Bagh Police Station by the Government of Sindh in 1999.
Mr Panaawala enrolled as a lower court advocate on 8th October 1999 and subsequently he contested the Election of Bar Association namely Karachi Bar Association in December 1999 for the year of 2000. Thereafter Mr Panaawala got Membership of International Bar Association. After becoming advocate, Mr Panaawala acted as a President of Human Rights Protector’s Society (HRPS) and did efforts with the Help of Member of Provincial Assembly for improvement of environment. On 3rd October 2001, Mr Panaawala enrolled as a High Court Advocate and got higher rights of audience. In 1999 Mr Panaawala opened his own firm namely Panaawala Law Associates (PLA) in Karachi. He also acted as a Chief Coordinator of Panaawala Legal Coordination Cell (PLCC).
In 2003, Mr Panaawala came to London for Higher studies and subsequently settled here. Mr Panaawala joined several reputed Law Firms of London and finally opened his own law firm namely IP Solicitors in 2016.
